Margot: bebé

They say time flies when you're having fun.

I'm not sure who "they" are, but they're right. I mean, it was just the other day that Margot was this tiny adorable newborn baby, right? ;-)

So, for the past year we have had the great joy of photographing Miss Margot and her family. Watching her grow into the adorable one year old she is, has been a lot of fun.

Here are some of my favorites from her 1 year session:

I think she has her dad's hair :-)

The Perfect June Wedding

Ryan walks into rooms quietly and you can sense the calm forceful personality that fits his job as a police officer.... Katie JUMPS into wherever she is going - with a contagious love of life. Long after she has left the room people are smiling because of her JOY!

Saturday was a HOT'Lanta day for their wedding but that didn't stop Katie and Ryan from enjoying every minute. Their ceremony was at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Norcross. With all of the stained glass windows, the backdrop for the wedding service was beautiful.

On to the Northeast Atlanta Hilton for a fabulous reception. Delicious buffet - great song selection - and everyone danced the night away!

All good things must come to an end - Katie and Ryan left through a trail of sparklers - off to happily ever after!

My camera came out and memories were captured. His smiles, laughter and love of Mom and Dad - couldn't ask for a job with better benefits!

Whistle Stop Farmer's Market

Lucky - that is how it feels to live in a small town in America. Especially when our town - Norcross - is nestled into a huge city like Atlanta. We have the best of both worlds. Zip to the city lights if we want or walk to the center of town and enjoy the fabulous events that are alwasy happening on in our little nook.
After many years of working on a plan, we have a Farmer's Market! Tixie Fowler, our wonderful City Coordinator, has made it happen. Find information on our Merchant website: http://www.norcrossnow.com/

Who knew that Farmer's Markets have grown to include breads and jams and cheeses and... and...well LOTS of YUM! We took home some incredible sundried tomato goat cheese and three berry jam. Talk about memories that last. I can still taste the jam that melted onto my toast this AM!

Each June our Norcross Neighbors - www.norcrossneighbors.com - hosts an Ice Cream Social and we give out ice cream in bowls or cones to all the little faces in the park that afternoon - some of the big ones get ice cream too! Mojito's - a scrumptious place to eat cuban food in town provided the ice cream again this year. (Look them up on www.urbanspoon.com) If vanilla and choclolate weren't glorious enough, they have created a signature sorbet named after their restaurant! Scrumptious!!! Many satisfied customers later - we had to find a faucet to de-sticky ourselves! But it was worth it to see all the smiles!

If you live close by - stop into our town and visit with us. We'd love to have you!! You can also check out all of the eventsfor the summer at the city website: http://www.norcrossga.net/!

Brady: bebé

Brady was in the studio this week for his 3 month session. I just love all of the close-up shots Beth took, so that's what I'm sharing here.

You may remember Aaron from his 3 month session, and here he is for his 6 month session. If anything, time has just made him even cuter, with lots of great smile and expressions.

Natalie & AJ: Engaged

Laughter and love. I think both of those are very important in life. And if you can find a good balance between both, you should hold on to it, for it is truly a great thing.

Natalie and AJ are getting married this fall. After one rained out engagement session, the sun finally made an appearance to provide some gorgeous light for the rescheduled shoot. I've been processing their images today, and what I've seen is lots of laughter and love. Their pictures make me smile (and it's always nice to smile at work on a Monday).

These four are my favorite series:

Happy Monday! :-)

Kim & Joe: married

Kim and Joe were married a couple of weeks ago in a beautiful ceremony at Holy Spirit Catholic Church.

Here are some of my favorites...there are quite a few :-)

Kim having her hair and makeup done:

And some details:

Beth captured these gorgeous shots of Kim:

And during that time, Andreas was taking some cool shots of Joe and the guys:

I've always thought Catholic churches are some of the most pretty churches, and Holy Spirit did not disappoint.

The newly married Kim and Joe:

The reception at Courtyard by Mariott in Vinings was filled with dancing, laughter, love and lots of good times.

Happy Thursday!
