I can't believe we've been taking this little guy's picture for a year now. They were right when they said time flies when you're having fun :-)
Sebastian and his parents and grandfather were here a couple of weeks ago for his one year pictures. Beth captured a lot of good shots, both inside and outside the studio. Here are my favorites:

Photographs and memories...
This week was a full one - and it's only Wednesday! While Jess has been holding down the fort with our blog I have had the joy of having my parents in town.
No matter how crazy their visit is, when they leave, my mind always goes to my "Wonder Years" in our family. Raising 6 kids with love and laughter in our house could not have been easy. And yet they did it every day without complaint.
They gave me the ability to take joy in taking photographs. From each family trip and family gatherings I remember my dad's slides. He had a film SLR camera and there are boxes of memories from my life that bring joy when I view them. So - thanks Dad for introducing me to photography. And, Mom - for filling our years with memorable moments. I learned from you to enjoy my own family.
During their visit, we had time with Jaime and Thomas. How fun to see her snuggle with Thomas and I can see this joy of family that my mom and dad gave to me growing with her new family. Can't finish this post without a picture from our visit with them...

Sheri & Bill: Married
You may remember Sheri and Bill from their engagement session last month. Their wedding was a couple of Saturdays ago, with a lovely ceremony at Perimeter Church and reception at Little Gardens.
First, some details of the day...
The guys were having some fun while the ladies were getting ready.
Doesn't Sheri look stunning?
One of my favorites:
Sheri and Bill, can't wait for you guys to come in to see the rest of the images! Thank you for letting us be a part of your day and may you be blessed with a lifetime of happiness!
Happy Monday!

Jack and Family
Jack and his parents came into the studio last week for an outdoor photography session. I was taking some pictures at a friend's wedding in Memphis that day, but from the images I've seen, Jack had a lot of fun exploring our outdoor space. :-)
Here are some of my favorite images from their session:

Atlanta Wedding Professionals April Luncheon
Last month, Beth and I attended a fantabulous networking event for Atlanta wedding professionals hosted by Atlanta Occasions Magazine and Atlanta Bride and Groom Planner. The event took place at the new W Hotel in downtown Atlanta and was jam packed with Atlanta's top wedding pros, fine food and networking. We had a lot of fun meeting everyone there and look forward to the next luncheon!
Check out the photos below from last month (I'm quite proud that Beth and I made the collage of images) and visit Atlanta Occasions Magazine and Atlanta Bride and Groom Planner when you're planning a wedding or special event.
Happy Monday!

Captivating Woman
Carmen came into our studio last week wanting photography to show the young woman she has become. Her fiancee was teasing Carmen that her pictures made her look too young. About to get married, she wanted photography to capture her beauty now - as a young professional woman!
Her face glows for the camera!
